Megeve
Originally a prime destination for the French aristocracy at its creation a century ago, Megeve with its views of the Mont Blanc has become one of the most exclusive ski resorts in the Alps, where millionaires, Royals and celebrities mingle together. I’ve spent a lot of time in Megevè (during both winter and summer) and it’s an absolute delight to behold. Here are some places I’d recommend (this post will focus on winter - I might do a summer in Megevè post in the future). Mountain Restaurants Ideal 1850 Stunning terrace in the sunshine or cosy inside by the fire on a snowy day. I highly recommend the pizza with melanosporum black truffle & baby rocket leaves (€56). I also love the poké bowl with salmon & avocado (€29) and the sea bass (€42). Cafe Woody Le Super Megeve I love the detox salad .
